Final Burn Alpha (fightcade's emulator) does not support hotswapping, so if a controller comes unplugged mid-game, or is not plugged in when the emulator starts, it will not be detected and you will need to restart the emulator (just the emulator, not all of fightcade). You can bind your controls ingame from the file menu, or by hitting F5.
You can also spectate games in progress, and be challenged by other people. Once put in the folder, you can play them in Fightcade by joining the appropriate lobby (Settings > Hide games with missing roms, makes it easier to find the lobbies you have roms for) and double clicking the name of the person you want to challenge. Unzipping them will cause them not to work. To play them, just stick them in the Roms folder of Fightcade. (Necessary to play all the SNK games below) (SF2 is played in the room named, "Super Street Fighter II X - Grand Master Challenge") (Street fighter 2, all 3 of these are necessary) (Darkstalkers, called Vampire Savior in Fightcade) These were all released on arcade boards not supported by Fightcade's emulator, Final Burn Alpha.
It cannot however play Capcom Versus SNK 2, or Marvel Versus Capcom 2, Mortal Kombat, or Guilty Gear. It can play Street Fighter 2, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, King of Fighters 98 & 2002, Darkstalkers (Vampire Savior), Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The Last Blade 2, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and more. This is fightcade, a netplay client for playing thousands of classic arcade fighting games (and a few shmups and beat em ups): RAW Paste Data Hey, here's a starter kit for fighting games.
